Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026. The short version: the codes you make are processed in your browser and never sent to us. The detail is below.

1. The data you enter into the tools

The text, numbers, URLs, contact details and any logo image you put into the barcode or QR generators are processed entirely within your browser. This information is not transmitted to our servers, not stored by us, and not shared with anyone. When you download a code or label sheet, the file is generated on your device. We have no access to it.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not linked to the contents of the tools.

3. Cookies

The tools themselves do not require cookies to function, and any settings remembered are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device — that never leaves your computer. However, the third-party services we use (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Adsterra) do set cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising, as described in the sections below. Where required, these are loaded subject to your consent.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — for example, which tools are most used and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect data such as your IP address, browser, device and pages visited; this data is aggregated and does not include anything you type into the generators. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

5. Advertising

This site displays advertising to remain free. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These cookies are not connected to anything you enter into the tools.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising from many vendors by visiting aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

6. Your choices (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of personalised advertising or the "sale" of personal information. Because we do not collect or store the data you enter into the tools, most such requests will concern the third-party advertising and analytics partners above; you can exercise ad-personalisation choices through the opt-out links provided.

7. Children

This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
