barcodeandqr.com makes barcodes and QR codes — for retail, inventory, shipping, events, WiFi sharing, contact cards, and anything else you need to encode. It's free, needs no account, adds no watermark, and works entirely in your web browser.
Many online generators send whatever you type — product numbers, customer data, the logo you upload — to a server to render the image. On this site, the barcode and QR rendering happens on your own device, in JavaScript, after the page loads. The values you enter and any logo you add are never transmitted to us. There's no account, so there's nothing to log in to and nothing tied to your identity.
The one practical exception is the web font used for the page design, which loads from Google Fonts. That request doesn't include anything you type into the tools.

This tool draws barcode artwork. For a product sold in shops or on a marketplace, the actual product number (a GTIN) must be licensed from GS1 — no generator can issue a registered number, ours included. Once you have a number, or for any internal-only use, you can design the barcode here for free. We'd rather tell you this up front than have you print codes that won't work at a checkout.
We don't offer "dynamic" QR codes with scan tracking. Those route every scan through a company's server, which means the code breaks if that company goes away or you stop paying — and it turns a simple code into something that surveils the people who scan it. We keep codes static on purpose: they keep working forever and they don't phone home.
